Chairman of board of directors of Sadra Marine, Qobad Choubdar, stated that the priority of his company is delivering rigs for phases 13 and 22 of the South Pars. “in August phase 13 rig will be installed and three months later rig for phase 22 will be installed,” said he.
About the 90 percent progress of the rig for phase 13, he mentioned that remaining 10 percent of the work is for procurement and transporting the rig.
Referring to replacement of phase 17 and 18 rigs with that of phase 14, Mr. Choubdar said that his company is in the middle of the work. He expressed that since rig for phase 14 had progressed more, and on the other hand Pars Oil & Gas Co. wanted to exploit phase 17 and 18 earlier, Sadra decided to use rigs for phase 14 in the other two phases.
Sadra Marine is constructing 10 rigs for different phases of the South Pars project. Choubdar expressed that his company does not face any challenge in regards with construction of the rigs.
