S. Korea to join phase 14

South Korean JS Company and Industrial Projects Management of Iran (IMPI) signed two memorandum of understanding on management and execution, and financing of phase 14 of the South Pars field, an official of IPMI announced.

Head of Market Development of IPMI, Hamidreza Jalal Jalali, said that so far the phase 14 of the giant South Pars has an overall progress of 40 per cent, while the IPMI has carried out 65 per cent of its works. “Operation of at least one lane of facilities at this phase can be started by late 2017 if funds are available,” he added.
Mentioning the tender for development of phase 11 of the South Pars, he said that IPMI would bid jointly with a foreign firm.
Phase 14 of the South Pars aims to produce 56.5 million cubic meter of sour gas, 75 thousand of condensates on a daily basis, and one million ton of liquefied gas, one million ton of Ethan annually.
