Operator of Phase 19 development of the supergiant South Pars gas field said platform 19B of the phase will be loaded for delivery to its designated spot during November.

Hamidreza Masoudi said the phase has 4 platforms which are being installed one after the other.
On Thursday, platform 19A was loaded at Khorramshahr Yard for delivery and installation over Phase 19.

Last year platform 19C was installed at its spot and will presently begin its operation to add 1 billion cubic feet of natural gas to the phase's output, he said.
Most of the work for installation of the platform including laying down a subsea pipeline to link it to inshore refinery facilities some 225 km away as well as pipelines for injection and delivery of glycol have been carried out, Masoudi added.

Phase 19 refinery is being constructed in 216 hectares of land and several of its units have become operational. The project will come online soon.
He further said platform SPD2 of the phase has extracted 330 mcf of gas from the phase to inject it to the national gas trunkline.

Phase 19 is the first South Pars phase which is being carried out as a 35-month project.
Phase 19 development of South Pars is set to produce 50 mcm/d of sweet gas, 75,000 b/d of gas condensate, 400 tons a day of sulfur, 1.05 million tons a year of liquefied petroleum gas and one million tons a year of ethane.

This development phase was awarded by Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) to a Petropars-led consortium of Petropars Limited and Petropars Iran and Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC) in June 2010 under an engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) contract.
Petropars Limited and Petropars Iran are responsible for onshore installations and drilling operations.
