Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) launched liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) storage tanks for stockpiling the item produced at phases 20 and 21 of the supergiant South Pars Gas Field in the Persian Gulf.
According to POGC, the facility was launched with the aim of
completing the value-chain of the two phases.
Alireza Ebadi, operator of the phases, said that the two
propane storage tanks would come online by the end of the current month of Aban
in the Iranian calendar (October 23-November 21).
He said this would be a major step for completion of the
value chain of the onshore refineries of the two phases, Shana wrote.
Phases 20 and 21 of South Pars are developed for production
of 1.1 million tons per year of LPG annually besides other hydrocarbons.
