According to an official with the company, Aqil Barati, the
system is highly energy efficient and plays a key role in reduction of
greenhouse gases.
Today, with the ever-increasing demand for air conditioning
and, consequently, an increase in the need for more electricity, to reduce the
share of power consumption in the summer and use gas for generation of energy
(Peak Shaving), these systems make up a significant part of the mix of
manufactured products in many developed countries, he said.
With vast supply of natural gas, our country, Iran, can
provide part of the consumer's cooling needs by reducing the demand for
electricity (especially in the summer), Barati argued.
In the winter, with heating, a decrease in gas consumption
in the country could be expected, he added.
