According to National
Petrochemical Company (NPC), Mr. Hassani said his company was building two
development projects jointly with Jam and Arya Sasol companies.
Outlining the plant’s
development plans, he said the three petrochemicals firms had closed ranks to
launch two major projects in Assaluyeh, southern Iran, Shana wrote.
He said Pars
Petrochemicals would supply a part of the feedstock needed for running the
project in a bid to generate more value-added domestically.
The official also stated
that after an overhaul, the monomer styrene output of his company had exceeded
its installed capacity (106%) from previously only 40% of its installed
production capacity.
