South Pars Refinery Yields 10 bcm Gas in 7 Months

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The director of operation of the eighth refinery of the South Pars Gas Complex said the facility supplied over 10 billion cubic meters of gas in the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 20.

According to the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), Kambiz Sefati said the refinery, by relying on young and efficient forces, had been able to display an outstanding performance in terms of safety and production during the period.

He added: “Specialists and staff of this refinery with production of 10 billion and 660 million cubic meters of gas since the beginning of the year and 77,760 man-hours without accidents, were able to take a big step in the Year of Production Leap.”

The director of operation of the eighth refinery of the South Pars Gas Complex stated: “This refinery has a very good and constructive interaction with the technical and professional centers of the neighboring cities and is now fully prepared to provide any cooperation of any sort.”
