Memorandum of Understanding Signed for the Construction of Environmental Monitoring Center in Asalouyeh

The memorandum of understanding for the construction of the environmental monitoring center was signed in the presence of Sekhavat Asadi, the CEO of the Pars Special Region Organization and Farhad Gholinejad, the general director of Bushehr environmental protection, at noon today, Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

Sekhavat Asadi, CEO of Pars Special Region Organization, said in this ceremony; this memorandum coincides with the National Clean Air Day and is a positive step towards continuous monitoring of the environmental condition in the South Pars region.

The CEO of Pars Special Region Organization also added; apposite study plans have been carried out by the environmental department of this organization in order to model the air pollution of South Pars based on the wind field, and the decision of the government board in the field of reducing air pollution in South Pars is an important step in improving the air quality of this region, which is closely monitored by the Environmental Protection Organization.

Asadi said in the end; In addition to these cases, this organization is seriously pursuing the implementation of the law to create at least 10% coverage of industrial companies located in the region.

Pars Special Region Organization and Bushehr Environmental Protection Organization have continuous cooperation

Farhad Gholinjad, the general director of Bushehr environmental protection, also positively evaluated the cooperation of the Pars Special Region Organization and its subsidiary organization in this ceremony and said; Pars Special Region Organization is our arm in pursuing environmental issues in the region.

The General Director of Bushehr Environmental Protection continued; Before the announcement of the resolution to reduce air pollution in the region by the government, the activities of the companies in the field of environment could not be verified, but with the announcement of this resolution, which is the result of a comprehensive research by the Oil Industry Research Institute and the Environmental Protection Organization, it is possible to define a road map to move the current situation to a desired situation. 

He said; with the efforts of the Pars Special Region Organization, we can announce that today we do not have even 1 kg of unauthorized waste in the region, and this, along with the organization of the sulfur warehouse and the creation of petrochemical wastewater treatment plants in the region, have been significant measures to preserve the environment of South Pars Special Region.محیط زیست 4
