According to the information base of the Pars Special Region, a joint meeting of oil and petrochemical industry managers of the Pars Special Region with Ayatollah Safai Bushehri, the representative of the religious jurist in Bushehr province, was held at noon today, Monday, January 9, 2023 at the Pars Special Region Organization.
The representative of the Guardianship of the Jurist and Imam Jumah of Bushehr in this meeting considered energy production as the driving force of economic production and said: "The ruling world is seeking to keep Islamic Iran as its dependent in the field of nuclear and fossil energy supply, but with your help; our oil industry experts, we will become independent in these knowledge-based industries.
Ayatollah Safai Bushehri continued: "We must avoid selling raw materials in this industry by focusing on knowledge-based projects in the field of oil and gas industries and shape the civilization of Islamic Iran by taking advantage of the great God-given capacity of the country."
He also added: When we localize knowledge in the country, even if it does not reach the field of industrial production, we can generate income for the country by selling this knowledge, and the oil industry with the presence of your experts, has the potential to be introduced as a leading industry in this country.
In this meeting, the Managing Director of Pars Special Economic Energy Zone Organization also announced a 50% increase in the export of Pars Special Economic Zone compared to the same period last year and said: In the discussion of exports in the first 9 months of 1401, more than 18 million tons of exports from this region, the country has received nearly 10 billion dollars in income.
He also announced the decrease of 600 million dollars in imports from South Pars region, which is 87 thousand tons less than the same period last year.
